The first-aid course for the driver's license costs 65 €.

To obtain a German driver's license, you must take a first-aid course. In this first-aid course, taught by our young team, you'll learn everything about the basics of first aid.

Other topics include, for example:
– Life-saving first aid
– Responding to acute illnesses
– Treating injuries
– Wound care, and much more

Unpredictable situations can arise quickly, especially when driving, and people and/or vehicles can be involved in accidents. After completing your first-aid course, you’ll know how to respond correctly and calmly in such situations.

You should secure the scene of the accident, protect yourself from injury and danger, call emergency services, rescue people from the danger zone, and — if necessary — begin CPR.

First-aid courses for all driver's license classes last 8 hours. Of course, we take short breaks between the individual sessions.

Section 19 of the Driver's License Regulation states that you must attend nine 45-minute sessions. This means you can complete the first aid course in a single day.

There is no exam, so you can't “fail.” You just have to attend all the classes and participate in the practical exercises.
